Kevin Jones is a serial entrepreneur successful (with his wife as business partner) eight out of nine times, Kevin created SOCAP, the worlds largest impact investing and social enterprise gathering. Convening 3,000 people from 70 countries to Ft. Mason in SF every year, the event is where the market and community come together annually.
Early in his career his investigative reporting put a Mississippi sheriff in prison on 53 counts of fraud. He led an unsuccessful malaria project in Mozambique and is a founding general partner of Good Capital’s Social Enterprise Expansion Fund (SEEF), which invested in fair trade and literacy and was successful three out of four times with every company having mission insurance and a cumulative double digit IRR. That fund recently had the first successful exit from a wholly fair trade company.
He is eager to be part of an investment vehicle that will compensate the producers like the investors are compensated. He is married to Rosa Lee Harden, and has son and a daughter Bradley and BJ and two grandsons, Logan and Asher. He lives in a farm on a river with two dogs and sometimes the boys near Asheville, NC.
